The Edmonton Raging Grannies have been singing, demonstrating, and marching for about 35 years. Some of our founding members are in their 90s and inspire us. We are very concerned about national, provincial, and local topics like public healthcare, democracy, the environment, climate change, and education. We defend the rights of women, racial minorities, First Nations, LGBTQ2S+, and those who are homeless. Of course, we are “peaceniks” from way back, opposing war and oppression. Our purpose, in all of our endeavours , is to make the world a better, safer place for our grandchildren and all future generations.
